Hey Brenda! You should be able to download the Notebook software from SMART and it will run with your interwrite pad. My school was one of the last ones to get a smartboard, and we used to use the notebook software with our interwrite pads. They will just have to use your interwrite pad to drag the icons instead of doing it on the smartboard. Other than that, you should be fine. Thanks for your purchase! Darcy

I'm trying to remember when someone else had that problem. I want to say I think it is a Mac vs PC thing. Have you tried it on a PC yet? I'm thinking that you might have to edit on a PC, but will be able to use on Mac. I have never used a Mac, so I am shooting in the dark on this one. I know it can be frustrating, I am having a few issues between my iPad and PC. Technology needs to be device friendly! Hope you get it worked out! My students love the snow penguins! Darcy

Hey Cara! No, questions are fine! I am not sure if my answer will be the best, but I can tell you how I do it. I know that there are several ways to do it, and I think it is just personal choice which way you do it. I actually start by drawing on my iPad using Sketchbook Pro (which I think is on sale for 2.99 now, normally 4.99). Then I email it to myself and open it up on my laptop. Then I use Gimp software (free) in order to take away the background. Then I can change formats with Microsoft Picture Manager into jpeg, gif, or png. Hope that helps! It is fun to do! I'm not that good at drawing but I like to make graphics to use with my students to show them anyone can be an artist. Good luck! I believe there a few tutorials on YouTube as well.

Hey Jenn! That happens in my room too! I don't think there is a way to bring it back without starting all over again! Frustrating, I know! (If you learn how to do that, let me know. I don't think the undo button works!) I have my students write the name of the student that they accidentally clicked on, just so I know for attendance. I also let the person that had their icon already clicked click on the other person's icon then when they come in. Hope those suggestions help you! Thanks for your support of my work!

Hey Laura - thanks for asking. My kindergarten friend says this to me all of the time! I'm trying to think of the easiest way...I think I would delete all of the eggs but one. Then you will need to unlock the chicks. After being unlocked, highlight all of the chicks (cntrl/click) and then group, then resize your chicks, ungroup and move to where you want,clone a few, then lock and save. Then I would resize the egg and write one name on it, group, then copy and paste. I think that would be easier - all you would have to do is ungroup and retype name, and regroup when done. Do the animation after you have locked down all chicks, and copied all of the eggs you need, and grouped the eggs witht he names. I hope this makes sense! Let me know if it doesn't and I'll try it another way. Thanks! Darcy
