Is this Clothespin Spelling October? If you purchased this there should be a notebook file included in the zip folder. There is also a PDF file...but that's only to explain how to use it. I suggest that you try downloading the file again.

Hello Kristine. You need to ask permission to use images off the Internet. Some people had no problem giving you permission to use their pictures...others will not allow it. Just send emails...that's what I did. You'd be surprised to find out that many people don't have a problem with it...just explain what you are using it for.

I have had plenty of people download the file and it opens quite well. Please try downloading it again. Sometimes if it is not downloaded all the way, the file becomes corrupted. I did make a Theme 3 smartboard phonics lesson...though I am not happy with it. It is not up to par with my Theme 1 and Theme 2 phonics lessons. I am still planning on redesigning my theme 5...not that it is bad, but it is not as clean as my Theme 1 and Theme 2's are. I use a program that let's me create gifs with a transparent background...then i just copy and paste them into the smartboard program...and they show up as an image that you can drag. Hello, What is a p. board? I was able to do it without a problem in the PowerPoint. Perhaps you have a sensitive mouse...but I recommend that you do a sharp, quick yet firm click with the mouse.

I would be interested in using some of your materials on my website universalhomeschool.com (this website is due to be released in August 2011). The site will mainly focus on teaching videos for children who are being homeschooled, or need the extra help. We will offer math, reading and writing. Unfortunately because of the cost of the hosting, development, materials, and other overheads having a free site would be impossible so I will be charging a yearly fee to have access to the site. David, This looks like something my K kids would love. I downloaded it , and I have a smartboard. How do I save it to my smartboard or do I just run it from my saved documents? Maybe I didn't save it correctly. I saved it to my documents.

Thanks! If you save it to your documents...it should open up when you double click on the file. If it doesn't, maybe you didn't downlpad the whole file. Please email me at chapcolby@yahoo.com if you can't get it working. ;)

I have had friends open it up with a mac...however not in a zip file. Do you have the Smartboard software installed? If so..send me an e-mail at chapcolby@yahoo.com and I will send you the Smartboard file, which can be opened with a mac. :)

I am a special education teacher and I was interested in trying this out as a tool to work one on one with a student. Can I still use it on a desktop computer? The other classrooms in my building have smartboards, but I don't think are actually that brand. Can they still use it?

Hello Jane. You can use it on a desktop computer. You need to install the software. Talk to the tech person at your site and have him/her install the Smartboard software on your computer. Hmm...what brand is it? I am not sure if the Smartboard software would be compatible. Please write me at chapcolby@yahoo.com.

Love your clothespin spelling and I was wondering if you would consider creating one for the phonics, such as sh,ch,er,ow oi ect. I am a student teacher and a phonics chant is the thing,problem is cards are small along with lack of wall space. The idea of putting them on the clothesline then saying the chant would be great. here is my email if you do create it, willing to pay of course. chsieg01@yahoo.com
