I have been a speech-language pathologist for 18 years in a public school setting. I work with students in grades kindergarten through high school.
I am a believer in life-long learning and love to discover new, evidence based strategies that I can use immediately with my students. I am inspired by others who share my passion and excitement for teaching children speech, language and literacy skills.
I have written and been awarded several educational grants to purchase materials and technology to support the needs of the students in my school district. Recently, I was awarded the Founders' Award from the Ohio School Speech-Language Pathology and Educational Audiology Coalition.
I earned a Bachelors Degree in Communicative Disorders and a Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
I am the proud mother of 3 amazing school-aged children and married to a very supportive husband.
