TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught elementary school for 17 years. Most of these years have been in third grade. I currently teach third grade with an above-level Language Arts class (3rd grade students working at a fourth grade level).

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a very hands-on teacher. I enjoy good children's literature that can be used for not only good comprehension, but as a writing and grammar source as well. I want to reach out to all learning styles and set forth expectations that not only remediate, but challenge as well.
