My students used this unit in the last quarter of Kindergarten. I was floored at how far my students' writing went this year using the "idea folder." In the past, my K kids were only writing 2 sentences, if that, ... NOW, they ask to use their writing folders. Thank you, thank you!

I'm really interested in your Writing Through The Year 1-4 bundle. I see that its recommended for K-1st. I am a second grade teacher, and was wondering if you would recommended for second grader as well? I work at a charter school and we have no writing curriculum. Hi There, There isn't anything extra in the bundle. :) I did revise unit 1 a few months ago so you might want to go and download the revised version if you don't already have the revised one. There isn't any way for me to discount unit 2 but you could wait and grab it during the annual back to school sale. :) Thanks a bunch!!

Yesterday I downloaded your Year long Theme Plan. I need to make several changes to fit my year. I love your format because each quarter is on a seperate paper and the lay out is so easy for my old eyes to read! :) Also, I have so many of your units and am in the process of completing the entire year's worth of theme units. It is the exact same thing. I just bundled them. These are the words I teach. My teammates and I studied our guided reading books and chose the word lists based on the words that appeared most often in the leveled readers for k &1
