I absolutely loved the math journal prompts. I had my students draw pictures in their journals to go with each word problem. They really enjoyed it because it was like art mixed in with math. :-)

I'm really interested in your Writing Through The Year 1-4 bundle. I see that its recommended for K-1st. I am a second grade teacher, and was wondering if you would recommended for second grader as well? I work at a charter school and we have no writing curriculum. Hi There, There isn't anything extra in the bundle. :) I did revise unit 1 a few months ago so you might want to go and download the revised version if you don't already have the revised one. There isn't any way for me to discount unit 2 but you could wait and grab it during the annual back to school sale. :) Thanks a bunch!!

Yesterday I downloaded your Year long Theme Plan. I need to make several changes to fit my year. I love your format because each quarter is on a seperate paper and the lay out is so easy for my old eyes to read! :) Also, I have so many of your units and am in the process of completing the entire year's worth of theme units. Anyway, my question is: Would it be possible for you to make an editable version? I will purchase it for sure!

I am currently a long-term substitute for a SDC K/1 classroom. We are going on a field trip to the zoo and this looks like a fun unit! My students are all closer to the K level, do you think these activities would be appropriate for them? I have to spend my own money and would be disappointed if I couldn't use it for them.

I've looked around at the questions/answers on here and noticed that you mentioned a "big sale" in May and that 5-8 will be bundled as well. Is your sale part of the May 7th & 8th sale mentioned on TpT or is it the discount already assigned to #1-4 for $32? Since I'm buying all eight, I need to conserve my resources as best as possible! I'm just trying to figure out the best way to go about buying them!

I would like to purchase the entire eight units for writing (I already own #1 and it is such a hit in my class I would like to use them all next year -- thank you!). Hello! First, I am so amazed by all of your products and can't wait to use them! I am wondering about the writing workshop monthly units. I read the descriptions and saw that they were mostly tagged for k and 1, but you did mention that a 2nd grade classroom could use as well...are there CCSS's attached with these for only k and 1, or since the standards spiral and go vertical would I be able to match them accordingly? Thank you!

So, I have a very unconventional question. But you are clearly the ultimate Kindergarten teacher, so maybe you can help me. I am a second grade teacher, but I have a home-bound 10yo cognitively impaired student whom I've never met. Basically, a home-bound-teacher comes every other week to pick up assignments I create for her. She really only gets a few hours of instruction from him/week, from what I can tell. I think, perhaps, her mother is to work with her beyond that, but I'm not sure how much really happens. Apparently almost everything we do is 'too hard' for her. She is basically able to do things such as trace and practice simple shape, or letters, or dot to dot numbers. To me, it would make more sense for her to be assigned to a CI homeroom, but it is what it is and her IEP has her as a 2nd grader. So...my question to you: Do you have, or could you create worksheets that I could give him to use with her. It has been tedious for me to continuously go to websites in search of appropriate stuff for her when I know there are great Pre-K to 1st grade teachers with boatloads of such 'worksheets.' (I am not a 'worksheet' teacher, ordinarily. I like to do hands-on activities and discussions, but that does not fit her circumstances.)

I have been using the wonderful Where the Wild Things are Unit and there is one discrepancy that my Kindies noticed. On the Spin and Graph worksheets, one of the pictures of the 4 pictures on the spinner does not match the 4 pictures on the graphing sheet. Is it possible to have that fixed? Thank you...otherwise a wonderful unit and the kids have loved it!
