Hi Debra, I was able to download the file onto my daughter's windows computer. I then emailed it to my account, dragged it to my desktop and was able to open it in Notebook on my Mac. Andrea Vittek

It doesn't ask, just automatically unzips the file and what I sent you earlier is what I see. I'll try tomorrow with my daughters windows computer and see what happens. If I can open it with hers and save it as a notebook file, then may be I'll be able to open it. I'll let you know. Thanks, Andrea

I am using a Mac, does that make a difference? I downloaded it again and when I open the unzipped folder I see:

I have never tried to open it with a Mac. Does it give you an option to convert files when you go to unzip them? Can you run windows with your Mac? If so, try to download it while using windows. I don't know if this will help but you can try. Wish I could thing of something else to try but nothing is coming to mind right now. I will think on it some more and let you know if I come up with anything else to try. D. Keating

I'm new to using a smartboard and notebook software. I have downloaded for free Ch.1 Sort and Classify. I am having difficulty opening it in notebook software. Do you have any idea what I am doing wrong? I don't see a notebook file in the folder. Thank you, Andrea Vittek

I do a lot of links to powerpoints and such when I create my NB pages so i can see where you might have tried to open the ppt first. But you said you don't see a NB file...there should be one. I would suggest you delete that file and download the file again. If this doesnt work.. let me know. I will download the link myself to make sure that it is all there. Sorry for the problems this is causing you. Debra Keating
