TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been an elementary teacher for 13 years. I absolutely love teaching. I especially enjoy teaching in an inclusion setting--helping children who have learning challenges. It gives me such a sense of accomplishment seeing minds open to new possibilities!

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is to do whatever it takes to help my students learn. We sing songs, act it out, experiment, use learning aids--anything that helps to get the subject matter across.

I was a late bloomer in finding my dream job. I became a teacher at 39!! I have a bachelor's degree in General Studies-Concentration Business and a bachelor's degree in Education. I have taken numerous graduate courses including courses in educational technnology and reading.

I am married to the best husband ever, Greg. I have 3 children ranging in age from 32 to 6!!! It's a long story!!!
