I really like this type of graphing paper. Having the x/y table at the side of the graph is a good prompt in helping students just starting out to remember the steps for graphing an equation and helps them keep their work neat!

Hey, I purchased this activity...looked great. Only problem is that after doing this activity with my students, I realized that this is not a scatter plot activity. Instead its a line-graph activity. Scatter plots compare trends in data and shows correlation. You cannot analyze a correlation of a question. If I am mistaken, please correct me.

The instructions on how to create the graph could be more clear. On the x-axis students should put question #1 and on the y-axis question #2. Each student surveyed is then plotted as a point represented by the ordered pair (answer #1, answer #2). For example if I ask Lisa "How much do you love math class on a scale from 1-10?" and "How much do you love english class on a scale from 1-10?" and her answers are 9 and 8 respectively, I would plot a point for Lisa on my graph at (9,8) and so forth for the rest of the class that I surveyed.
