15 Years in Art Education. 10 Years in Technology Education. Master's Degree in Special Education and CAS in Educational Leadership (Administration) Currently an Elementary Art and Computers Teacher and District Arts Coordinator

MY TEACHING STYLE

I create my own materials and curriculum, following New York State and Standards and the National Standards. I use the say, show, do method and rely on the student to create their OWN work. Art is as much about the journey as the destination.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

2004, 2005, and 2006 Commendation Award for Excellence from the Hornell Arts Council 2006 Who's Who of American Teachers Award (nominated by a former student) 2007 Art Teacher in the News Recognition.
