The file extension is .notebook and if you do not have this program on your computer or as an application on your iPad you will not be able to open it. If you are using a smart technologies Smartboard with this software at your school, you should be able to open the file on that computer. If not, I would be glad to send you the attached files via email . Still fun, but not interactive. If you can, check with your computer IT go-to person at your school and maybe you can get a version of the software for your computer being used in your district which is compatible with your interactive board. I have recently added the Notebook application on my iPad mini and checked to see that the file can be opened in Notebook on the iPad. It opened nicely. The application for iPad reads files nicely, but has limited functionality as far as creating a notebook file. I hope this helps. Thank you! These are the essential questions for each topic in the new curriculum I have written for the ATLAS mapping program we have in our district. Should you use them in your classroom, add to them, have other ideas to reach Core Curriculum goals using these essential questions, please do share. I find that some of my colleagues are overwhelmed with all the Core Curriculum talk - but we actually DO most of the expectations already. And open ended questions seem to be the ones that get my students talking. My favorite that isn't included - but is a great preparation for the study of prepositions of location and how we describe how things are spatially related to each other: Is there an "up" and "down" in outer space? A lot of head scratching on that one until the conversation gets going! Thank you for your feedback.

That is so strange, no I am using powerpoint. I am only able to click for one number to show up. On the next click it exits the slide show and goes to the "edit" slide for lack of a better word. Oh well, maybe we can talk more in the summer. I am rather disappointed as I was planning to use this powerpoint for part of my Final Exam review, but I have moved past it now. I have purchased many power points and never had a problem before.

I have gone to the file that is posted and that you purchased. I am running this powerpoint on a PC, you on a Mac, so I assume that you are opening this file in Keynote. I do not use a MAC, but I have downloaded this file using Keynote onto my Ipad and the directions seem to be a bit different to get this program rolling properly. I have opened the file in Keynote, clicked on the slide (of the two brightly coloured numbers) I would like to use, clicked on right facing white triangle found in the upper right hand corner. This brings up a blank page. With one click on this page,
the numbers begin to appear and disappear until the powerpoint has run through. I hope that this helps you in getting this activity to your students. If you are using a SmartBoard with a PC in your classroom, this file should work with the directions given. I have used this activity many times - the kids love it! Please let me know if these directions help you. Thank you for considering my products for use in your classroom.

Merci bien. You and I are very much alike. I too speak Italian and Spanish. I feel bad sometimes because I am a native speaker and a "born" speller and I never get upset if I make a mistake and someone corrects it. I have come across many many errors in one document, and when I offered to correct it and send it back the seller actually told me that she is not perfect and since she published in Word, all I need to do is correct my version.

I really like your verb wheels. I had come across different ones, but they were too complicated to reproduce. Yours are simple and much more useful. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind fixing a couple errors. (I can't edit in PDF format)
1. the 1A series: the word présent is mispelled (presente)
2. the 2A series: passé composé is mispelled (pasé composé) on the wheel and in the instructions. Also, in the instructions avoir is also mispelled (avior)

MY TEACHING STYLE
I believe that teaching any subject should be stimulating to both the students AND the teacher. Students learn more thoroughly through discovery and hands-on use of new technologies that are increasingly available to all. Along with the teacher, students that take responsibility for their learning with strong support from the home are the most successful. Even the smallest success breeds success - so the student who struggles can find still find success if alternate learning styles are addressed.
