Are you trying to print it to normal (letter/A4) size paper? It says in the listing that it is tabloid/A3 size. I'm lucky enough to have a printer that prints to tabloid size but I used to print them off at school before I could. If you don't have access to a printer that prints this size there are a couple of options. On some printers you can use the POSTER option to print on A4/letter size paper (over 2-4 pages) and join them together to make the board. Alternatively, you can check the SHRINK OVERSIZE PAGES or SHRINK TO PRINTABLE AREA boxes and the board should print to one letter/A4 size piece of paper. The only problem with this option is that the writing might be a little small because it is meant to be a larger size board so that up to 4 players can sit around it and play together. I hope with these options you are able to print the board! My kids really loved this game!

Hi Linda, sorry about that. A double bubble map is similar to Venn diagrams as they are used to compare and contrast 2 things or people. I had my students compare themeselves to a friend, but you could also compare Valentine's Day to another special day (like 100th day). I had two students write their names in the bubble second from the left and second from the right half way down the page. In the middle bubbles, they write how they are similar and in the outside boxes they write how they are different. You could then have students write a paragraph using the bubbles to guide them. Hope this helps!

Unfortunately I don't have time right now to go in and change the font on the 100 cards as it takes a bit of time (to also change the sizing as not all fots are the same and formatting to have it fit right) as I'm getting ready to head back to school for our new school year (our new school year starts at the end of January). I have included a blank template so you could start doing the ones you need on that and I'll try to update the pack over the next month.

To open the zip file you'll need an unzipping program like 7-Zip, Win Zip and many others - there are plenty available for free download from the internet. I downloaded 7-Zip for free and it has worked perfectly for a couple of years now. The reason it comes in a zip file is because it's the only way to include multiple documents in the one download on TpT. I hope this helps.

It sounds like you have out-of-date Adobe software. If you click on your Purchases page and read through the information at the top, there is a link in red to download the latest version of Adobe Reader. I use these cards currently in my classroom and they look so cute. Several teachers have given me compliments on them! I do have some other strategies I would like to add (for example, Know the Character, See the Setting, Think About Problem and Solution, Read Like Gold, etc.) Can you please email me the template? Sorry, I don't have any solutions for you and I'm not sure what an 'expander' is! It is a zip file, so you do need an unzipping software installed on your computer (such as WinZip or 7-Zip). Many are free on the internet. If you email me at downunderteacherblog at gmail dot com (as you didn't leave your email address) I'll be able to email you the file already unzipped.

All they have to do when they print it is click on a button that says 'Shrink to Printable Area' or click on 'Properties' and then scroll through and select the page size required. I hope this helps.

Hi! Personally, I prefer to make copies of the recording sheets so that I can collect them to see how my students went. I also shrink some of them down and copy 2 pages on the one sheet of paper if I think there's enough room to do so (to save on paper). That's just a personal choice though, and there's no reason why you couldn't laminate them for students to write on and reuse.

I just saw you posted on my "introduce yourself" post and wanted to say thanks. Also, my second grade class and I do a country study each year and our country is Australia. I was wondering if you had any good/cute resources you'd be willing to share. The past two years I have a hard time finding activities or things for my kids to read about Australia that is kid friendly (all the things I find are like travel brochures and etc.). So I thought I'd contact you and see if you had any ideas or resources. Our country study is always a highlight!

When I try to download (have tried a Mac and a PC) the file will not open and keeps locking up my computer. Both computers have plenty of memory....suggestions? A friend at work said that she experienced the same thing when she tried to use this last spring.

I'm not sure why it isn't printing properly for you. Did you read that it was A3/Tabloid size? I printed mine full-size from school, but I can also print it as two or four letter sized pages to my home printer. I hope you are able to get it worked out.

Do you have a similar (in design) math packet that extends to 4th/5th grade? Including the thousands place value? and multiplication? I love the art in your packet, but I teach 4th and 5th graders. My kids need help with the higher place value (hundred thousands), add/sub. facts as well as multiplication/div.

I've never used a Mac before, but I'm sure you just need some unzipping software on your computer (WinZip, 7-Zip or any other). Many are free to download. I use 7-Zip and haven't had any problems and it was a free download. If it's a problem for you, once you've purchased send me your username and email address and I can email the documents to you (not in a zip file).

Hi! I’m Kylie and I teach 2nd grade in sunny Australia! I'm in my fourth year of teaching and my third in 2nd grade. I love making games and other activities to reinforce learning in a fun and engaging way. I love sharing, gaining inspiration from fellow teacher and being a part of this wonderful TpT community.
MY TEACHING STYLE
I like to keep kids up, moving and involved. I use a variety of materials to teach students who have a wide range of ability levels and interests. I like to use games and activities that are hands-on and engaging for students but also encourage learning and hit the mark educationally.

Do 'Teacher of the Year' mugs from students count?! Haha! We do not have district or school-based teacher awards here in Australia!
MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY
I started off as a Training Officer and Traineeship Coordinator so I worked with people (from 15 to 55) who were undertaking certificate level study while working. It was great fun conducting workshops, facilitating tutorials and visiting workplaces to conduct training and assessment but I always thought I could do more for them if I had more time with them. So I went back to uni and completed my 4 year Bachelor of Education (Primary).
