I love the science (prediction and outcome) extension with this activity! My kids also had a blast coming up with their blueprints. I was suprised at how many of them were able to follow their original designs.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
This is my sixth year of teaching, fourth year in grade one. I have also taught Kindergarten and Grade 2.
MY TEACHING STYLE
I use a hands on approach to learning through music, dance, singing games, actions. I love to come up with new ways to teach concepts in my grade one classroom. I use my SMARTboard all day in class, and I don't know what I do without it. I love centers and getting messy (sometimes).
