Eatsleepteach- I just downloaded the Candy Bar Elections unit.The unit looks great and will be fun for the kids. I hate to ask for additional help, but is it possible to correct the spelling of the word convincing on the "How to Run a Candy Bar Election in Your Classroom" page. Also, when I printed the "Candy Bar Elections Primary Election Voting Ballot" the left side of the page is cut off- can this be fixed? It would be great to get an editable version of the document (word) if possible. Thanks!

These downloaded just fine, but when I got ready to send them as attachments to be printed on a colored printer, only two of the three would load. I saved them as jpegs. Any ideas why this would happen? The Obama poster is the one that wouldn't attach.

Hi whiteja, I'm not sure, they have printed for me in color. I would recommend trying a different computer if possible. I know sometimes it also depends what program you open the file in, maybe try Adobe Reader.

Hello! I am considering buying your Election Extravaganza Unit, and am wondering if you could tell me a couple of things first. Does this unit include the topic of "voting?" Do you have materials provided for a "mock election" of some sort? Also, how long does it take to teach this unit? Hi! Voting is not covered in much depth but there are materials included for a mock election including a ballot and information on the candidates.
This could is adjustable so it could take anywhere from 3-10 class periods depending on how many of the pages and activities you use. The most time is taken in using the dictionary, candidates bio, and three levels of government lesson.

First, create a cover page which can then be used as an attractive thumbnail to entice buyers. Add a second page which is a directions or suggestions page. List several ways you use this product in your classroom. Never assume that a buyer knows how, why, or when to use your product. Use the footer to put the copyright symbol, your name and date of creation. Items, especially free ones, have been "stolen" from TPT and posted on other sites to be sold. You have to protect all of your creations.
