It is difficult to write decodable stories for older kids that are engaging and support phonics instruction. This author does a great job doing both. I will definitely use these with my 5th grade struggling readers. (c)

I think these poems are wonderful, and I can't wait to use them in my classroom! I love the line in the poem "Compare and Contrast", "When your teacher asks you to compare and contrast- Don't complain or mumble. Just have a blast."

When I downloaded the Giggle Grammar Study Guide, only 2 of the pages showed up. The last two pages had nothing on them and I did not see a checklist. I just wanted to let you know. If you have the other pages, I would love to have them.

(I know it says 2010 but I didn't bother to check how long this site has been in existence). Is there a way to secure your work on the site itself or must you do the legwork prior to submission? Hi! If you are interested in copywriting your material, look at the copyright webite for the govt. and you can apply online or send your work in. The copyright is valid when you send your work in. I didn't begin selling mine until it was copyrighted. You will get a certificate about a year later. There is something on this site called Creative Commons, but I don't really know about it. If you are selling lesson plans, I don't know if I would pay to have them copyrighted. I hope this answers your question. Good luck!

I don't have pictures yet for those sounds, but if you can wait a few days, I can attach some pics and e mail them to you as a trial for my materials. I have successfully field tested Giggle Language Arts Poems in four 4 3rd grade classrooms for the last two school years. I field tested in a 4/5 combo intervention in 09. Classes range from Gifted students to Below Basic EL students. Students and teachers have given very positive input.
