I love the cowboy and cowgirl pattern. I didn't see anything like it on other sites that I looked at. I am actually a Pre-K teacher and loved that pattern for my wild west theme. Have you ever thought of selling your patterns for your crafts seperately?

There are two venn diagrams in this unit. One to use to compare Pilgrim kids to kids today and one to compare the first Thanksgiving to Thanksgiving today. There is a can/have/are chart for Indians and Pilgrims. There is a Mayflower Facts craftivity. I am in Tennessee so the TN standards that these activities would fall under are 1.1.01 Understand the diversity of human cultures. 1.1.02 Discuss cultures and human patterns of places and regions of the world. 1.1.03 Recognize the contributions of individuals and people of various ethnic, racial,
religious, and socioeconomic groups to the development of civilizations.
a. Understand individual differences in languages, beliefs, and customs that may be unique to one's culture. 1.5.02 Understand the place of historical events in the context of past, present, and future.
a. Distinguish between the past, present, and future.
b. Recognize major events in American history.
I am currently working on an update for this pack and adding some new activities. I should have the new update by this weekend. Hope this helps! Please let me know if you have other questions. :)

There are cards with rhyming words that go with this activity, that can be used for a whole group activity... pass out one card to each student and have them find another student who has a word that rhymes with their card... or the cards can be used for a center activity. Students would match the cards and record answers on recording sheet. Some examples of the rhyming words used in this activity are land/sand, dog/log, flew/blew, book/took, etc. There is a pattern for the Room on the Broom witch and a sheet that students can write their own rhyming words on. Thanks for the compliment! No, I do not draw the clip art myself. I purchase all of the clip art from Scrappin' Doodles and then give credit to them on my credits page at the end of my units. Hi! There are different pieces you would trace and then put together to make the dog. In all there are 6 spots, nose, head, tail, body, legs (you would need 4 of this piece), donut and donut glaze for a total of 16 pieces that make up the dog. I hope this helps!
