I bought these statements. I love them!! On my ELA Curriculum Guide Unit 1, the first statement is, "I can understand the relationship between the reader and text." Instead of text, you have speaker. Can you fix this for me before I print? I would appreciate this. Also, on Unit 7, many of the I cans are not there. I work for GCS ike you. Thanks for your help.

Thank you! I ended up making my own for the ones that were missing. From the Language Arts Common Core, there were no I can statements for conventions of standard english (L.1.1. - L.1.3.) and for vocabulary acquistion and use (L.1.4 - L.1.6). For Math, one of them that were missing is tell and write time.

I love this Soils packet! We also do the kits. Question though...on the rubric you cover the plants and roots part but there's nothing in the packet about the plants/roots piece. Do you have something for this or ???
Also, unless you've already caught it, there's a typo on the first vocab page...it say 'plans' instead of 'plants' under the definition for organic matter. :o)

Thanks for telling me! I have sold over 100 of these and no one has seen that typo. As for the roots on the rubric, I used this rubric in my classroom long before making this pack and used something I already had on roots. I could take it out or add something for roots. I am glad you like the pack :)

Has anyone else had any trouble with the math statements? I went to align them to my common core checklist and I can't find any of the "I can" statements for place value. And it looked like I had several that had the same indicator number. I don't have them here but I think it was 2.NBT.5 that I had on several different statements and I was missing 2.NBT.1. 2.NBT.2, etc. Have you heard of anyone else having these issues or am I missing something?

I love this product! Thank you so much! I wanted to let you know that I found a mistake on #2: The number line goes from 0-2, but the fraction listed as the correct answer is 1/5. In order for this to be correct, the number line should go from 0-1.
