TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my 12th year of teaching after 3 years of being an assistant. I taught 1 year in 5th grade, 10 years of 3rd and am now in 4th grade.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I teach in all different modalities because it is my belief that ALL students can learn in one way or another. I love letting the students discover the concepts while I facilitate. Many of our lessons are done in small groups to accomodate all the learning needs and levels.

Attended Appalachian State University 1995-1997 and Graduated from Lenoir Rhyne College in 2001 with a BA in Elementary Education. In January 2013, I will be entering Appalachian State University's Masters of School Administration program.
