I was just wondering why on the main evidence binder cover page when you go to type in the top box the text also goes into the bottom box? Is this some sort of error or am I not understanding what I should be typing in the boxes. My thinking was that I would put my name in the top box and my school name in the bottom but it will only allow the same text in both boxes. Thanks! I love this product and it is such a huge help as I am now working on my binder! :)

Yes, they are standard letter size. You can type whatever you want on the blank pages, so you could add PreSchool to the cover. You cannot add photos to the pages via the computer. You will have to add them by just taping and copying. I could add a pre-school graduation photo page, but again you would have to tape the photo to it. Not sure if this is what you were looking for.

I love your products and have purchased many of them! I am looking into the future of next year and I'm really want to begin doing literacy centers in my room. I tried it out this year, but struggled. My main struggle was giving my students centers and not being able to assist them with directions. Do you do the same centers each week?? I'm trying to find out how you make you center time so successful! Not sure where to start? Any suggestions or packets you sell that could help me get a handle on it ????

It is a little hard to explain briefly. I start by modeling a few whole class. Then we split into two groups the next day to practice the centers. Then we go to four center groups at once. I just bought your word wall words and they are way too small. Is there anyway to make them bigger? Maybe 3 or 4 to a page? They go above my lockers and it's just too small to read if you get more than 4 ft away. I'm not very tech savy, so is there anything that I can do to fix the problem? Also, the 8 empty cards are the classic colors (blue, red, etc.) and the set I downloaded is neon. How do I get that color?

Hi, I just downloaded the zipped packet and the blank Word version of the cards are in neon. Check the folder you unzipped. Also, the thumbnails for the word wall cards shows them with 8 per page. I am sorry I cannot make them larger, that would mean days of editing the packet. It is not a simple fix. You can try increasing the percentage you print at, but this will cut off words. I let my students use clip boards to go up to the word wall to copy down words.

Thanks for the feedback. I have done them for my new units but not all the time for the older ones. I mostly get my sales through my blog, where I have samples of the units. This has never been an issue before. I will definitely work on adding more previews in the summer. Right, now I am trying to finish up end of the year products - which will have collage style previews :)

I just tape up the words all around the room: on a closet door, on the window, on the bookstand, the wall, etc. The students in a center group use clipboards and go around the room to find the words. I have up to five students in a group. Look on my blog or in my store for more information on literacy centers.

If you were able to download and open the file then it is saved to your computer. Look in your downloads folder. You cannot re-save the file once it is on your computer because of the editable fields. Adobe Pro prevents you from saving what you have typed in the editable boxes. I am hoping this helps you. If it doesn't I can try uploading it again and you can try redownloading. It worked fine for me on my school computer.

I only bought one set of dominoes and I used it as a center. The kids just share the one set. Ashley Hughes sells domino clip art if you wanted to print those and use them.

Thanks! I didn't think about the file size. You are right that would be massive. I do agree with my principal though that they needed to be bigger. It's a huge wall, and I have 200 words, each in index cards because she wanted them bigger. I have the "a" words up there that are smaller and I can't even read them from the students seats :( thanks though!!! They are super cute so I may try adjusting the settings to see what that does!

Hi! I bought your 1st grade word wall words with the polka dots and I was wondering if it would be an easy fix to make the words index card sized? I love them, and had them up in my room, but our principal wanted the words written on a index sized card and thought my words were too small so I ended up not being able to use them :( If not that is totally fine... I just thought I would ask. I wouldn't be needing them until next year. I'm sure you are super busy with teaching and all of the end of the year stuff! :) Thanks!

Hi Jennifer, I cannot make them index sized. That would be a huge file. What you can do is adjust your printing scale when you go to print. I am not sure if that would cut some of the words off or if it would let you tile it. You could also tell your principal that you could not possibly fit all the words on your word wall if the cards were that big! Administration are just looking for things now! My principal wrote about how she loved my word wall in my observation and how the kids used it. Wish I could help more. Good luck!

No, you cannot type over other words, just make your own on the blank pages. You can just print those pages more than one time and change the words.

Could you please offer another package in addition to this one that offer the same colors for calendar numbers, number line to 100, number line to 20 w/ words, clok numbers by 5's to 60 or 00, and especially some bulletin board border w/ just the colors in a line that I could piece together? I would pay handsomely for it. I love your stuff and I'm in Indonesia where we never have snow or Christmas or much of anything. I have anothe request. labels of everything in the room for example, clock, desk, pencil sharpener, glue, etc so i can have a print rich classroom and organized and i want them in that polka dotted set that i bought/purple, green, turquoise, etc and editable. if you don't make them, i'm going to have to but some that don't match from a cupcake for the teacher, so please help me match. thank you so very much.

I was wondering if you could make in the same colors a clip chart where they move up or down, a birthday chart or something, and make those blank labels w/ your colorful borders just solid colors in your colors, so that I could make a bulletin board border out of them, as well as a number line and numbers w/ words 0-20 and ordinal words. I am a 1st grade teacher in a public elementary school and I love my job. I love the age and I love creating new things for my students. I have the inclusion classroom, so many of my products were created to fit a variety of learning needs. I have also taught Kindergarten and second grade.
