This is so cute. The only thing I don't like is the first page it shows mostly continents but then says country. I think it would be confusing to point to North America, but say United States of America. Maybe there should be a continent page first or have no names next to the countries? Just a thought! Thanks!

Hi Erin! I have all our your homework packets and I am having trouble printing them......I haven't been able to use the November one at all yet - when I go to print, it says - "The document cannot be printed" "No pages were selected" I have the latest version of Adobe and it just seems to be these homework packets that won't print.....any suggestions? I had to copy and paste each page from October into Notebook and then print out....any help would be appreciated! THANK YOU!

The coloring page that said the student had a great first day in Kindergarten-- can you make another version that doesn't say "first day"? I was reading your blog and have an organization tip for puzzles. I took paint daubers (like for bingo) and stamp markers and stamped the backs of all the puzzle pieces as well as the bottom of the box and inside the lid of the top of the box. This way the kids can easily sort puzzle pieces by the code if kids are working close to each other with more than one puzzle.

My partner teacher and I did print it off and were about to use it, when I noticed that the choices are either "sun" or "shadow" - both of which mean the same thing... so I wasn't able to use it as I think you intended.

Hey...we have implemented common core as well! Within the unit are: 2 poems, a sight word game (with sight word cards) syllable printable, turkey adjective bubble map, venn diagram, 2 dice games, measurement activity, thanksgiving dinner graph, 2 anchor chart toppers, writing pages that will allow you to create a class book and brainstorm needs/wants, 3 math journal prompts, a printable for "read the room," and an emergent reader that addresses two hf words: his and her. The book also is a directional activity because students have to tickle certain parts on the turkey! It's fun :) Let me know if you have additional questions, I hope that's helped!
