Erin, In my county I just attended a math meeting on Fractions. We were told that we are not to teach the numeric fraction only the word in 2nd grade. The instructor said that she went back and watched the state video and it said in the video not to teach the numeric fraction. is it possible to get the math with the words - "one-half" instead of 1/2

I found a couple of typos, just wanted to let you know - sum: the word number needs an s at the end; decompose: seperating should be separating. Easy enought to fix by hand, but just in case you're updating.

I had already had those cards made in the color version so I transfered them into the black and white. I will add the other you recommended, but unfortunately I won't be able to do it till after October 5th. I am getting married that weekend and made myself promise that I would focus on wedding tasks until then. I hope you don't mind waiting 3 weeks for those other cards. I truly appreciate your purchase!

7 of the words: skip count,place value,picture graph, number line ,expanded form,digit and data have minor flaws when printing. The right top border drops down into the picture.I even reprinted in google chrome.Please let me know if you able to correct the problem. It doesn't show on the screen only when hard copied.

Hi Erin, I bought all 3 (I Can, Vocab, and essemtial questions) Packets. Your work is BEAUTIFUL! Thank you! I was wondering if the font on the "I can" colored rectangular cards could be done in the same font as the Vocab and essential questions Rectangular cards? Some of the words are hard to read with that swirlier font (Look at the "W" letter to see what I mean)? I have purchased your ela and math essential questions and LOVE them! They will be such time savers this year! I would love to purchase these math vocabulary cards ( they are by far the best I have seen), but are not part of my color scheme. Is there any easy way to remove the colored border totally or just make the border black like you did with the alternative essential question cards? Thanks so much!!

We just got our planning guide for unit one. Would you consider adding some more words to the unit? I have an email I can send you where the county made us cards but they are no where near as cute as yours. The words are: number names, models, comparisons, equal, categories, and interpret.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I am currently in my fifth year teaching. I have taught first grade for for two years. I really enjoy teaching second grade and have been blessed with the opportunity to teach it again this year.
MY TEACHING STYLE
Differieniation rules in my classroom! I do what it takes to meet the students' needs, while pushing them further.
HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT
While I have not won any real awards yet, I have had the 'honor' of teaching in 3 different schools. I have moved schools every year for my first four years, but I believe I have thrived in each school setting and have grown SO much as a teacher.
MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY
I graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I also received my Master's in Language & Literacy from Walden University.
ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
