My kids liked the graphic organizer and I laminated printed pizza toppings so we could sort parts of speech onto pizza slices. Fun!

Hi. I like the creativity of this idea, and am intrigued by the "raps" and things you promote to accompany this. However, you don't want the fact that there are two spelling errors in this handout to make people dubious of the quality of the rest of your materials. FYI: "mnemonic deviCe", "wHets [as in "sharpens"] your grammatical appetite". Sorry, I don't like to be negative, but I do think that English teachers are the ones who should know (or proofread) this stuff!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
This year marks my 24th anniversary in teaching. I taught 3rd, 4th and 5th grades for 15 years. I graduated to the junior high school level where I have been teaching intervention, ELD7 / SDAIE8 and ELA 7 for the past 9 years.
MY TEACHING STYLE
A balance between hitting the books and fun, off the beaten curricular path, creative and engaging interactive activities.
HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT
Receiving mutually extended high fives, knuckle crunches and screeching "Hey, Ms. Cerezo!" shout outs from my students while walking to my classroom located in the north 40.
