When I print my cards a little black box with a + sign appears. I went back and opened the page on my flashdrive, the black boxes were there, but I can click around and have all but 2 boxes leave the page. It is on page 11 of the ocean packet. They are small, but visable. Any idea how to make the boxes disappear?

I cannot create the issue you are having with the file so I can't tell you how to fix it. My file prints clean. Based on your comments I did go back into the file and center text and put larger text in the document. Have you had a chance to download the updated file? It will be in your purchases. I can make you a powerpoint of that page with text boxes and email it to you if you are not able to make the boxes go away. It is not some thing I have come across or can create in the file.

It came out very classy and easy on the ink. I kept accent colors for pennant banner circles and the birthday set. Very sharp looking!

I love the chevron alphabet posters! I noticed and loved the short and long vowels as well as the alternate sounds for c and g. I would love the short and long u also... I did not see that one. Please let me know if you can do that. Thanks!

I did do the 6 pt. space like you said. I read your directions and followed them, but it was not very helpful. Once the larger font was selected it was very hard, sometimes impossible to go back to the 6 font. Not as easy to use as you imply.

Make a space first and then highlight the space and change to 6 pt. I have updated the file to have text centered as default. Look for notice of update in your purchases section to redownload. I made sample labels in all sizes to check the fields and they are working well. I can help you set up your fields. This is a very flexible format that does not require having another program. Once you get familiar with it you will appreciate the amount of customization you can do. Send me your email and font you want to use and I will set up the fields for you.

This is way too difficult to get fonts to center from top to bottom any suggestions? It will center from left to right, but not top to bottom.

On the Properties Bar click on the More... button on the right side of the bar. You will see choices for aligning your text top, middle, or bottom.
If you are using a large font and it is leaving too large a space at the top you can type a 6pt. space before your text and return so that the text will center higher in the box and not leave a top space equal to the size of your font. Usually just doing the first step is enough. Hope that is helpful.

When you select print, look at the printer dialogue box that opens. Under the printer selected there should be a bold: Pages to Print section. Select Pages instead of all and type in the pages you want to print. For instance, 9-11
You cannot break up the document and email only certain pages. You can put the file on a USB drive and take it with you to work and plug the USB into your computer to print from.

I put in a fixed font and size for the time that is why you could just put in numbers. For the other text boxes you will need to follow the directions on the included directions sheet. You start by typing in what you want the text to say. It will be smaller than you want and not the font you want. That's okay. Highlight the text, and follow directions to open the properties bar where you can make it any font, size, and alignment you want. Give it a try. Once you do one it will be easy. Thanks. Hi Jessica, I have updated my Phonics 1 Set with 63 sound cards and have added a Phonics 2 Set with 57 sound Cards. The preview download has a very detailed list of sounds and associated pictures. The editable file is power point. I can send you the PDF version. I will be making all of my editables as PDFs this summer. Right now they are power points. When the new version is available you will be able to redownload it.

Shape posters are up! They are super cute. Please redownload all of my polka dot items for the new borders that color coordinate with my new chevron set. I have the supply label file yet to update and will do that this weekend and then reupload a revised mega pack as well. Thanks for your support.

I absolutely adore your work especially the polka dots and stick kids! I have to ask if it is possible to get the pack with just black and white polka dot borders instead of the multi colors? Everything else the same just black and white instead of the bright dot borders. I understand that it will cost a customization fee but that would be no problem. Thanks for your reply in advance.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I am in my 5th year of teaching and have taught K, 1st, 2nd, and middle school science. I love creating engaging units for teachers that are aligned with Common Core Standards.

I have a very hands-on teaching style with a goal to engage all students in a love for learning. I believe learning is best when it is seen, heard, and felt so we are always on the move in first grade!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY
I am a K-8 certified teacher with a Reading Specialist endorsement. I have also taken several classes in gifted education. I have a Bachelor's in Architectural Design from Arizona State University and was in the design and architecture field for 20 years. I went back to school in 2008 to become credentialed in K-8 elementary education and have never looked back! My husband has recently joined me in the teaching world as a 6th-8th grade Math teacher.
ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
I am the wife of an amazing husband that I am proud to be married to for 23 years and have two wonderful children, a 6th grade girl and a 3rd grade boy. I teach at an A-rated K-8 school that is very family focused and I am so very fortunate to be at the same school as my children. In my spare time I love creating, reading, and spending time trying to keep up with my very active family.
