I really like this, but some lettering was over the top of other lettering, clicking boxes did not reveal the answer, and there was no way to scroll down to see the words at the bottom. I have the latest version of ActivInspire so I'm not sure why it wouldn't work.

We have Smart Notebook 11 software. I wonder if the 2 program's are not 100% compatible. I will double check my file and re load it just to be safe. I'm sorry you're having trouble. What is your email and I will try sending it to you directly, maybe that will help.

There is a seperate magic e book for your early long vowelers. Then in the vowel team book magic e is included also but the vowel team book covers all the teams for that long vowel. These books have worked great for our first graders this year!

Hi! I teach in a multiage 1st/2nd grade classroom. We currently use the Timed tests that are like add 1 to a number, add 2 a number, add 3 to a number etc...The subtraction goes the same way. And the subtraction and addition are on different tests. ANYWAYS, I HATE THEM because they do not teach students the relationship between numbers like fact families do. I need to be able to assess students on addition and subtraction facts up to 20. By any chance do you have these made? I didn't see them in your store (just the fact families up to 10). Or , are your files editable? So I could start make fact families up to twenty myself? I really like how you have everything organized! Thanks so much!

Ambiguous vowels have a written sort where there sort words between the 2 or 3 spellings then there is a page with pictures to write the words. Many of the ambiguous spellings do not lend themselves to pictures that are easy to identify so there is usually 1 page with pictures but they are separated. There is also the ambiguous vowel spelling pack in my store that we use in addition to the book for homework or extra reinforcement. All of the other books are set up like the vowel team book. Everything is introduced seperately then mixed in the review pages. The Cvc book has a rhyming page that you have to spell the 3 words then circle the ones that rhyme. The only book that does not have pictures is the word family book. That one is just writing words.
Hope that helps. We use these for our entire 1st grade. Our kids are split by ability, we use a spelling inventory to assess them. It has worked great for us this year.

The reverse facts are incorporated into the practice sheets and assessment sheets. When I teach it in class we talk about it and practice it, but I did not include them into the flash cards because I did not want to overwhelm the parents. Let me know if you want me to reverse them and send them to you so you can add them to your unit.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have been teaching 1st grade for 7 years. I taught Kindergarten for 2 years prior to that and taught 2nd grade for 1 year. I have a Master's degree in Early Childhood. I love creating stuff to make my teaching easier and I love that I can share those things!
