This is a new one to me, I haven't heard of this happening before. You could try to delete the file, then re-download. Make sure the PDF file is open, and not in preview, then try to print it again.

Yes, the file has been updated, slides 20-29 are duplicates of the NWF cards, but they have transparent text boxes. If you don't want shading, skip slides 5-14.

Ok, it's the text box transparency. To have the text readable on top of the graphic, the text box is slightly shaded. I'll see if I can make some changes to improve the appearance of the shading. If possible, I'll try to get it loaded in the next 24-48 hours.

I LOVE your Nonesense word fluency games!! I purchased BOO, Hocus Pocus, Turkey Trot, The Gingerbread Man, and "Blizzard". My kids BEG to play them (yes, even the Halloween games at xmas time!) You may want to consider adding a video portion to this unit. The Curious George episode "George Digs Worms" from the PBS DVD Curious George Goes Green! I would be interested in using some of your materials on my website universalhomeschool.com (this website is due to be released in August 2011). The site will mainly focus on teaching videos for children who are being homeschooled, or need the extra help. We will offer math, reading and writing. I started building this site about a year ago and during this time I have been creating videos, quizzes, worksheets and lesson plans. I originally wanted a site that would be available for free to parents and teachers. Unfortunately because of the cost of the hosting, development, materials, and other overheads having a free site would be impossible so I will be charging a yearly fee to have access to the site. This will be anywhere between $30 and $50.
Therefore I am asking you for permission to use your work on my website. I will pay for your materials, give you the credit, create a link to your page and give you free membership.

I had another person email me about that too. They also have a Mac. Someone posted a fix for this on my blog, here's what they said: You need to have Adobe 10 and/or make sure you are not opening it in Preview. Be sure it is always opening up in Adobe. You can get Adobe 10 free from their website. I use a PC, so I'm not able to confirm that this works. But it's worth a try.
