First Grade Person (TpT Seller)
That was how I managed their rewards for Fridays. Each day, whatever color they ended on had a coin value. My assistant would help them put the right amount in their bank. On Friday mornings we would count the coins, and then they could "buy" a reward for the day. These were all privileges, not prizes! Popular ones were "stinky feet", where they got to wear no shoes in the room, and "super supplies", where they could use markers instead of a pencil. The items were priced so that someone who had been on green most days of the week could get the lowest priced prize. It was also good to let them practice counting money, since that was a first grade standard.
However, this year it is not a common core standard, and I don't have my assistant as much so I took the coins off! I am making the privileges based on how many green days. 4 green days during a week makes you eligible to pick one on Friday. That means they MUST color their behavior folder every day, or no privileges! We'll see how it goes!
