Purchased this item but the answers are wrong when the students scan them. Some of them say "no" when the answer is yes and some say "no" when it asks for a coordinate. My students were so confused and I thought they were doing something wrong so I had to stop my small group to help them and realized they were doing it right, the cards were wrong.

Hey, there! I just went through the cards and they all work. These cards were proofed by several teachers, and I and other teachers are using these cards with no problem. This is very confusing! I can't of what the kink must be. I apologize for your frustration as it was a hindrance to your small group time. :(

Hey, Christina! I do believe it can be done, but you have to convert them to flip charts first. You can't open the files directly, I don't believe. Try your luck on some SB freebies, and see how it goes. I hope this helps. The games are really fun and CCSS-aligned, too!

Hey, Megan! I wish I had a more personal way to show you how QR codes work, but here is a link I found on the Internet - http://qfuse.com/learning/what-are-qr-codes.
For my resources, when students scan the code, a text box will pop up with a simple text answer such as 9 feet.

I purchased several of your bundles that use qr codes but I can't get the qr codes to scan. I can get the practice codes that are in the front of the booklet to scan and it sends me to tpt, but the codes that are next to the problems will scan but will not send me to an answer. What should I try? Very disappointed. My school has state of the art internet services, I have tried several different qr scanners. Nothing.

Hey, Linda! I'm very sorry for your troubles. My suggestion would be to use the app that is simply called Scan and has a QR code for its logo. The codes definitely work. I use them in my class along with many other teachers. If that app does not work, please let me know, and I'll try to think of another solution.

Hey! These lapbooks are bundled together in a zip file. If you haven't ever opened a zip file, you can do it by downloading the WinZip software. It's free, although there's a paid version. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I can't get anything to download correctly except for the 2 PDF files. I followed your link for the unzipping program, and then followed your link for the smart board program download. The smart board program opens as a zip file, but then gives me an error, and unfortunately using the files online is not an option for me. I'm not really sure what to do from here.

This is a Smart Board resource, so you normally would need the Smart Notebook software that accompanies your Smart Board. The tech person at your school should have a key for this software in order for you to download it on your connecting computer. If you do not have an interactive board, your only option would be to open games through the website http://express.smarttech.com/#. This site provides you software that you can download to also play the games offline if need be. Hope this helps!

Ok! What scan app are you using? Some can act weird, especially for me when I am depending on my school's server for the internet. The free scan app that just says scan with the scan logo is what always works for me. If that is what you are using, did you print maybe in draft mode? I don't know if that would affect it or not. Please let me know if you are still having troubles. It has to work!

Hey, there! If you look at the second page of the file, it gives you some directs on making QR codes. Another site I like to make them on is qrstuff.com. Once you make one, you download and save it on your computer. Then you insert it as an image in Word, PP, etc.

When I download the zip, the files within come with the extension ".flipchart" and ".notebook" both extensions I'm unable to open. Do you have a PDF or more universal file for this? The only way you could probably open it is through the Smarttech site - http://express.smarttech.com/#. Try a Smart Board freebie there and see what you think.

Hey, there! So sorry to hear you are having problems. I just downloaded the file from my TpT account and tried it out again to make sure there weren't any glitches, and it worked fine. I'm not a tech person, but I'm wondering, does your computer run slow? The file maybe large for the memory you have, and it's complicating things for your computer (I'm sure a tech person would laugh at what I just said.) Also, have you updated to Smart Notebook 11? I don't think that's the issue, though, because I made this file with Smart Notebook 10. If you have a tech specialist at your school, see what they say. I hope you can get it to work! The audio works fine and automatically. Something is definitely wrong!

This is a Smart Board game. Do you have the Smart Notebook software installed? This is necessary to open the file. It should open with no problem if you have that software. DO you have a Smart Board in your classroom? If so, your school should have that software downloaded on your school computer, so you should be able to open it there. In the meantime, you can open any Smart Board game on any computer through this site - http://express.smarttech.com/#.

Well, I thought I had a "Smart Board", however I don't... I have an Interwrtie Board, these games will not work with my board (BOOOO!). I hate that, I was soooo looking forward to using these games with my kids. Thanks for all your help with my tech issues, you have been a huge help!

I just purchased your measurements units and conversions SMART BOARD pack. I downloaded it but can't get it to open up... I get a window that asks me what program I want to use to open each game. I tried Adobe Reader with no luck. Sorry for my lack of tech knowledge!!!! Any and all your help is much appreciated!

Do you have the Smart Notebook software installed? This is necessary to open the file. It should open with no problem if you have that software. DO you have a Smart Board in your classroom? If so, your school should have that software downloaded on your school computer, so you should be able to open it there. In the meantime, you can open any Smart Board game on any computer through this site - http://express.smarttech.com/#.

Hey there. I purchased the multiplication lapbook this evening and parts of the printables are messed up. I printed the card stock portion (B&W and color) and they look fine, but some of the other pages are jumbled. I tried printing a page or two to see if they would print correctly and didn't have any luck.

Have you updated to the latest version of Adobe Reader? That may be the issue. If it's not, I would contact TpT's customer service. Since it's not an issue with the file (it has been downloaded numerous times), TpT would be more helpful with technical issues that you are having. I'm not too experienced on that end!

I don't have any experience with the Promethean, and the responses I've heard from others in general have been mixed - some can open Smart Board files as flip charts, others can't. You can also upload and play Smart Board files through the Smart Tech site - http://express.smarttech.com/#. WHen I print these, the colored task cards print nicely, bright, etc. However the QR code does not print! The box is just a lovely colored box with no QR code. On the black and white pages, the QR code does not print either. I have tried it on a color laser printer and a black laser printer. I will try a set at home. Any ideas?

Hi! Just discovered your store. I don't have a smartboard but I have a mimio teach with the everyday math calendar for smartboard - if that makes sense? So I use the smartboard software for the calendar through my mimio teach. My question is, will your products work for me using my mimio?

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I spent my first six years as a kindergarten teacher. I also spent two summers as an English teacher in Trujillo Honduras in '01 and '03. Now, I am in my third year as a 4th grade math and science teacher in a Spanish Partial-Immersion program. I love it!
MY TEACHING STYLE
After six years of teaching kindergarten, I am now a 4th grade Spanish immersion teacher. I thought the jump from kindergarten to 4th grade would be a big one, but instead I found the truth in this simple fact - kids are kids. Get their hands on things, let them play, allow them to create, and the learning will follow.
