Hi,
Thanks for your question. We use whatever stamps and pads that we either have on hand or can get donated. We definitely prefer the washable stamp pads, when giving our first graders access to this *privilege*. Being that our stamps are a hodgepodge of rubber stamps, they require a stamp pad as opposed to self-inking. :)

Thanks for your interest. Yes! The fluency bookmarks are designed to be carried around with them as they read to 3 people, 5 or 8. Each time they read to someone, that person initials their bookmark. The kids love it! The comprehension cards can be used the same or they can be passed out for independent work. For K, we have them talk a lot with the comprehension cards rather than ask them to write, especially at the beginning of the year. All this being said, there really are so many possibilities for use and you may come up with your own wonderful way to use them. :) They are designed to be flexible. Hi there. It shouldn't be blurry or have anything to do with Mac vs. PC. The unit is compatible with both. Which pages are you having trouble with? One thought is to be sure your Adobe Reader is updated. This typically fixes most problems. Also, have you tried printing? At times we find the screen view can appear blurry, but upon printing it looks fine. I love your bubble gum addition and subtraction packs! Do you have separate tests that assess fluency to 10 (versus 20)? My district wants me to use an assessment that aligns with the fluency goal in the Common Core (fluency within 10 in first grade). I like the tests you have set up since the Comon Core also wants first graders adding and subtracting within 20. These tests will defineitly help with kids who are developing fluency beyond 10.

Hi Hope! Thanks so much for your interest. At this time, our Bubble Gum Math packs are designed to test addition and subtraction fluency within 20. In the past, we have cut the tests in half (literally, with scissors) to shorten them for our struggling students, but we do test them within 20. :) Thanks for your kind words and we hope you will consider it as a way to meet the within 20 standard. Hi! I love your bubble gum pack and I think it will really encourage my kids to learn their facts. I was wondering if I could possibly get an editable version of the parent letter. We compact at our school so for math I have students from 5 different classes and it would be helpful to adjust the letter for this situation. Thank you so much for your consideration!

Hi there! I just downloaded your "Frosty in First Grade" unit and it is adorable! As I was going through this, I noticed that the directions for Moremand Less Mittens are exactly the same as Hot Cocoa 10 Frames. Your designs are so cute that I don't want to mess up your hard work so, would you possibly be able to email a replacement for that page?

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Christy and Tammy have each been teaching for 15 years, the past 10 together sharing a first grade classroom. Each teaching at separate schools in our district, we found each other after becoming first time moms and wanting {needing} to return to the classroom and our passion of teaching. We decided to job share until our own kids entered Kindergarten...those kids just turned 10 years old! Though we began this journey as teacher strangers and new moms, we have found a partnership and friendship that will last a lifetime. We are the teachers we are because of each other and we cannot imagine teaching without one another.
MY TEACHING STYLE
Each day is a new adventure in our classroom. When kids enter our room, they are ready to learn, grow and have a lot of fun along the way. We are always implementing creative strategies that engage our students while fostering a lifelong love of learning. We are a community of learners with different needs and unique styles. Our style reflects a whole child, multi-sensory approach to learning which empowers each child to reach their full potential while beginning to take greater responsibility for their own learning.
