I liked this activity for my students because it incorporated creating a graph which is useful in reinforcing math skills as well. Easy for students to follow.

Great template! I plan to copy it and paste to oak tag paper for durability and the students will write phone related pharases in Spanish on the back.

My classes and I loved this high interest activity this week! However, there is a mistake on page 6 where it says "Le Jugador" instead of "El Jugador".
I even shared page 6 with our Japanese teacher to do with his classes!

Phenomenal! That it has a story, a review after the story where the students can retell it, and then a Q & A for comprehension check! Ingenious! Plus, its cute!

I was impressed by the size of the file. There certainly is a lot of good content in there. There was an unexpected American focus which made some parts less usable for me, since I'm Canadian & Earth Day applies equally well here. It seems like the answer keys take up a lot of space and it might be possible to put all the answer keys on just 1-2 pages instead. Also, a few of the images are pixelated so don't print well (i.e the "Es-tu vert(e)?" ones). I do like the Gouin series part quite a bit. I like the flashcard suggestions as well, but it might have been nice to have the word & picture cards prepared separately.

I agree with the previous buyer's comment about this being a fun way to review kind of boring (but essential) vocabulary early in the year.
I'm also glad that it's a Word file instead of a PDF, so I can change it to dollars if I want to, and even ask students to refer to a Quebec web site instead of one in France. Allows for further diffentiation and more cultural comparisons too.

Thank you for this last minute solution to teaching Christmas "en français!"
A few images are blurry and there are a few grammatical errors to be reviewed ( ie. La visite DU Père Noël, le bas de Noël, à LA gauche, à LA droite, Le Père Noël donne un biscuit pour LE chien à Rex)
Thank you, however, for all the hard work you have put into this resource! Joyeux Noël!

Merci Bellabanana! (Love the name!) You know, I hadn't even looked at this in some time & I apologize. I made updates, including a few other items that my fresh eye was able to catch. I opted to go w/"chaussettes de noel" but it's purely a matter of choice. I've uploaded a new copy, this time as a Word document so that you (or anyone) can edit and adjust to your particular needs. One of the things I love about TpT is the collaboration, and the ability to go back and make improvements. I sincerely appreciate your help, and especially your kind delivery :-) Please email us directly at foreignlanguagehouse@gmail.com and we'll be happy to offer you another free download of your choice. Joyeux Noel!

The students needs to be explain why s/he gave him/herself a 3 or 2 or 1. There is not enough room in the box for a short explanation. Also, we do not want to read the explanation on the back side. It would be nice if the evaluation had 2-3 choices to check, if the students gives himself a score below a 4. But of course, I can modify it to have those options. Thank you.

Hi Paula,
If you'd like to email me directly at foreignlanguagehouse@gmail.com I'll be happy to get you this download as a Word doc. Then you can easily add the space that you need. I usually have my students do an evaluation every single Friday, so to save time students just quickly circle the points, I score, & comments are only occasional. However, if this were given less frequently, more reflection and comments would certainly be valuable. In any case, just let me know if you'd like me to send you the other format :-)

I think it is more useful to have students spell each other's last names instead of their first names, except for the fact that there are little to no accents in the last names. But I have found it much more difficult for students to understand each other when spelling the last names in French. So, that shows that they do not have the command of the alphabet necessary to be understood and the name bingo should be helping to improve that. Bref, I have not seen that it helps improve pronunciation of the letters with asking the spelling of the first names. Thank you.

Great point! You can still modify the directions of the activity and have students spell last names instead of first. Or perhaps both!

I wouldn't call "une librairie" a library. I would call it something like "an office/school supply store".
