Hi! That is a great question. I don't have a sample lesson plan because I don't typically use these cards within a lesson. I just use these cards during transitions (in and out the door, at bathroom breaks) to keep the kiddos on their toes!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I am a fourth grade teacher in Virginia.
MY TEACHING STYLE
I teach in a heavily ELL-populated school, so visuals are everything! My teaching philosophy is that movement and discussion are the keys to learning. I like to incorporate centers into my classroom for a variety of different reasons, including the fact that it promotes cooperation, fosters independence and keeps the students moving and therefore (hopefully!!) engaged and on-task.
HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT
I work on an assessment team to create the best formative and summative assessment activities possible for our students and teachers. Quick and simple consistent formative assessments can really streamline your teaching.
MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY
I went to the same public school system for 1st - 12th grade that I teach 4th grade in now. I then went to Penn State University to get my B.S. in Elementary Education. We are!
