apartment = apartamento in Spanish
I cannot see anywhere that it is spelled otherwise.

The documents are not editable -- they are password protected against changes. That way, no one can change the content and leave my URL on it, possibly causing disgrace.

Buyer re: Advance! Spanish Adjectives game
Hi, please could you explain what the square tokens marked A1,A2 etc. are used for? I've bought the game and it looks good so far, but I just can't figure out what to do with the tokens. Thank you.

[copied from a previous reply, to someone else -- I think I will have to add this to the game, even if I have to add another page to the file... :D ]

All the Advance! games play out the same... lay out the 2-piece board and give each player one set (one color) of tokens labeled A1 to A5. These are simply used as place markers of where each player's turn ENDS -- where they can no longer move forward by covering a square with a circle card (matching Spanish to English).

The object is to be the first to move across the board (and back, if desired), one row at a time, picking up circle cards (Spanish) from around the board and covering their English translations (squares on the board). The clincher is that only squares in the next row can be covered, so that once the player can no longer make a match in the next row, their turn is over and their marker stays on the square which they last translated successfully.

Independent learners can play against themselves, trying to get further across the board (and back) than they have before, and/or in a shorter time.
Small groups take turns going as far as they can, starting their next turn where they left their last token -- on the space they last covered.

Happy playing! :D

Ahhhh... in searching the site, I see that when I type in "advanced Spanish adjectives game" it returns one of my products called "Advance! Spanish adjectives game"... Assuming this is what you meant...

There is a separate set for present tense (look for "present indicative")... and also one for imperfect, one for preterite (this one), and one for future and conditional tenses.

Hi Fran, I love your products! Thanks for sharing!

I just listed a new type of Sight Word PowerPoint for Kindergarten and First Grade. It is listed under First 50 Sight Words PowerPoint. It includes the words in isolation and within the context of sentences with picture support. I wondered if you might consider taking a look at the free 4 slide preview to see if it might be something you could use. Thanks! Anne Gardner

There is not a "teacher's guide" except for a small bit of information on the front page giving tips for printing and use.
English translations are not provided in this set. It is designed to be used by teachers who are well familiar with these super-common verbs. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Those are the two halves of the playing board. The dotted lines are meant to be cut for slits in which to place the guide word "goal posts" on each end of the "playing field".

My questions is about the Number Lotto. Your description says it comes with 10 boards. I have 22 students - do I just have more than one having bingo or am I able to modify your template to create more boards?

The game can be played so that cards that are drawn can be used only by the player who draws them, to cover spaces on their own board. In this way, even two players with the same board cover their spaces in a different order and at a different pace. Simply make additional copies of boards and cards.
