Nice unit! Wish it had less about the weather tools, and more about actual weather occurances. I think that would have benefitted my kids a little more. But looking forward to planning out creating the weather tools with my kids in class next year! Thank you for the hard work!

Thank you. Yes, our standards we follow for 4th grade in Georgia put more emphasis on the weather instruments rather than different types of weather. Your kids will enjoy creating these tools next year! Our kids have a good time making them and sharing them with their classmates.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
We are two educators who have taught for many years together. We started off in 1st grade and then moved to 4th.
MY TEACHING STYLE
Students, no matter what age, deserve to have an education that is fun and engaging. We challenge ourselves to create innovative, hands-on activities that challenge the kids and keep them motivated. We believe that all children can and should exceed our expectations.
HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT
We have both been nominated for teacher of the year. However, our biggest honor and achievement is when our students succeed. That's what keeps us going!
MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY
My B.S. is in Elementary Education. I recieved my M.A. in Early Childhood Education and my Educational Specialist in Curriculum & Instruction. I've also had the pleasure of earning a reading endoresement and a teacher support system endorsement. My teaching partner has also earned her B.S. in sociology, as well as her M.A. in Elementary Education. She also earned her English as a Second Language endorsement. We both continue to be lifelong learners as the field of education constantly changes! We enjoy going to conferences to learn as much as possible from others. We have been trained in Best Practices, Thinking Maps, and RTI, just to name a few.
ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
We enjoy making products that are researched based while meeting the standards of Common Core. We are proud of the things that we create and we certainly enjoy sharing them with others.
