I am interested in your MIOOW packs - next yr I will be teaching a K/1 in NSW. I am not familiar with this product (yet!). I have bought home the 'package' ie Books, charts, cards to familiarise myself with. Can I ask you a couple of questions?
Is this a reading program? a spelling program? or both?
If I buy this product - the practice sheets - can the font be changed? We use a foundation font in NSW. Thanks for your time, Sherie.

Hi, M100W is mainly a reading (sight word) program, but can be used as a spelling program as well...it depends on the school....and different schools use them in different ways and some even change the order of the colours around a bit....your school will let you know how they do it. I'm pretty sure that I have put the words on as a PDF so the font cannot be changed as I found that as people were downloading, it was appearing differently in their windows if they didn't have the VIc cursive font, however, if you purchase them, just email me at winada@iprimus.com.au and I will send you the original word copies that the font can be changed on...that's not a problem....thanks...Gail

As it is an inquiry planner, it does not plan for specific fairytales, but gives a list of fairytale big books to use. I always do a focus on one specific fairytale per fortnight, depending on the kid's favourite choice or on the specific language etc. that I want to teach. It is a very comprehensive planner though and well set up for the inquiry approach....you can then teach what ever fairytales you want with the format of the planner...it is open ended in that respect....hope that answers your question...Gail

Hi Gail. I recently purchased 'AUSTRALIA INQUIRY LEARNING UNIT PLANNER'
from you. Page 5 is doubled up (Arrows everywhere,words on top of other words). I am unable to read it, and i'm not sure which parts to move around. I'm finding it hard to follow and i was wondering if you could help me with it or send me a copy that is clear? Thank you.

I am currently holding an expert support position for years prep to 6, after just coming out of four years as the coordinator of the prep/K learning unit. I hold many leadership roles within the school and have been involved in review panels, policy writing and the mentoring of graduate and student teachers. For many years I have worked in an open-plan teaching environment, in team teaching situations. I have successfully undertaken a wide variety of roles, have lead many committees, organised events and curriculum related activities. I have worked in the significantly high ESL area of Dandenong for the past 6 years, resulting in a strong understanding of the multi-cultural and ESL needs of children from other cultural backgrounds.
