Thank you for your prompt reply. Our confusion resulted from the fact that in all of the other games like this you have created there was a card to cover every number on the board in addition to 3 cards with numbers that were not on the board. It really isn't a problem.

Love your games!

In the Math Games For Holidays and Special Days packet, the Easter Game, "Easter Counting in 2's" does not have a card for 58 or 68. I felt sure you were not aware of this and would want to make the correction.

This entire packet, for all the holidays, is absolutely marvelous! I have been using the games all year with my RtI math students in kindergarten through 5th grade. You have created games that always seem to address just the skills we are needing to practice at the time of that holiday. My students love the games and demonstrate real skill progress from playing them.

Thanks so much for a fantastic product!

Hi Linnea,
Thank you for your feedback and your support.

I have checked the game that you mentioned. You are right there are not cards for these numbers.
I did however create them with the assumption that if the number was already on the board - as these numbers are - then the players wouldn't need to lay down cards for these numbers. That is why these cards don't exist.
Sorry for any confusion. I have the following instruction in the game that I hoped would make this clear. "If the card doesn’t belong or the number is already there, return the card face down with the others."

If you think this needs further clarification please let me know.
Hope the kids enjoy these games and activities.
Happy Easter!

One thing I find difficult to teach my students is that the singular word for dice is die. When I make games I always use the word die when only one is needed. I have noticed that many instructions now say 1 dice. Not sure if you want to change it. I LOVE the game though, and I appreciate that you have offered it free to teachers. Thank you very much!!!!

Games 4 Learning
Games 4 Learning  (TpT Seller)
The idea of this is so that when the large number is covered, you can still see the smaller number so you know what number is in that shape.
This helps when playing the game as if there is only one counter on the number, the player can bump the other players counter off. Seeing the smaller number helps the player to find the shape quickly.
Hope this makes sense and hope the kids enjoy the games! :)

Thanks for the feedback. The 10 sided dice games are for those teachers who don't want to have children multiplying by 11 and 12. Many teachers do adapt the games as you have suggested or they use cards numbered 1-10 instead and have children draw a card or turn over a card to select the number. Thanks again for the feedback!

I teach 9th grade math to those students who have not been successful in math for the last 8 years. They range in age from 14 to 17 years old. I need activities at a lower level but that won't insult their fragile teenage egos. Do you think some activities in your Thanksgiving math would meet those requirements? Do you have suggestions in your other items? You seem to have a talent for creating high interest ways to teach math, so I would value your input.

Hi Janet,

Thank you for your interest in my products. The Thanksgiving Math Games, Puzzles and Brain Teasers might be okay for your age group. I tend to decorate with cute graphics but these aren't quiet as cutesy as other graphic used in other products.
The board games may be a bit too 'young' for them but the puzzle sheets and brain teasers should be okay.
Please download the preview to see if what is there would be okay.
Maybe the sets of brain teasers would be useful for your students without being to too cutesy.
Happy thanksgiving!

You could easily adapt this by having the children play them by rolling the 12 sided dice instead of rolling the 2 six sided ones and adding them.

Are all of the bump games made for only 2 players? I have small groups of Title students and would love to use these. I do have more than 2 students at a time, though. Thanks!

Hi,
Thanks for your interest in my games.
You could use these with a small group by dividing the groups into 2 teams - teams could let one player at a time have a turn.

You could also play a game with 3 or 4 students but reduce the number of counters that each player has, e.g. 5 each instead of 8 or 10.

I use these with groups of 8 and have 5 or 6 games ready. They play in pairs and are allowed to use a calculator to check the other players answer.
Hope these ideas help!
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Kind regards,
Teresa

Hi ScoobyDooDog,
Thanks for your interest in my games.
I am in the process of adding the bump games and still have the division games to add.
I am hoping to bundle them then but it may take a few days to get this done.
Look out for the bundle soon. :)
Thanks for your support!
