Well, off the top of my head there's a good few things you could do. The easiest option is to read the challenges from the computer or if the pupils have access to laptops, they could challenge each other in pairs or small groups. Another option is to print the ppt on the 6 slides-a-page option (maybe on card or laminate) and the pupils can pick randomly from the 200 categories or,again, challenge each other in pairs or groups.I hope this helps.
Kind regards
GibbUK :-)

There is a great deal of free clipart available. I never pay for clipart. Just do a Google search for Public Domain clipart and lots of sites will come up. I also use the clipart available with Office.com images. Also, on TPT, Graphics from the Pond offers lots of free stuff, and all you have to do is give them credit. Just go to their store.

Scipi  (TpT Seller) re: 20 Quick Questions No. 5 - Multiplying and dividing by 10 or 100
I saw your posting on the Forum page of Teachers Pay Teachers; so, I thought I would look at your freebie. I left you a rating. Well done! You wanted some feedback; so, here are a few suggestions that might help you to better market your products.

Add some clipart to add color or just color some of your font. (I add clipart, even on high school math tests.) For some reason buyers like color on the original even though they may copy your product in black and white. Also, create a a second page/slide which is a directions or suggestions page for the teacher. (How do use this? How much time do you give? Do you grade it? Etc.) List several ways you use this product in your classroom. Never assume that a buyer knows how, why, or when to use your product.

Use the footer to put the copyright symbol, your name and date of creation on EVERY page/slide. Items, especially free ones, have been "stolen" from TPT and posted on other sites to be sold. You have to protect all of your creations. Here is how to do that. Use the insert and go to the right. You should see symbols there. Insert the copyright symbol, your name and date. It should look something like this: © V. Rauch (Scipi), 2011

Also number your pages/slides. Finally, unless you want your products revised (I do for my tests) save everything in a PDF format as it is harder to change.

It is important that we see what others are doing; so, feel free to look at any or all of my freebies listed below to gather some ideas. If you care to, a rating or any feedback you might have would be great.

I really appreciate your kind and thoughtful comments. I agree about the pdf - I've just posted another ppt but in the pdf format just because the file was too large but it makes perfect sense to post the 20 QQs in the same format as they are easily adapted. I'll also makes changes re. copyright, instructions and page numbers. And, of course, I'll have another wee look at your store (I am already a follower of yours). I'm honestly not too sure about clipart - just from a legal point of view really.
Many thanks for taking the time to share your wisdom. Every little bit of advice helps but this is a whole load of quality advice so it makes a huge difference!
Kind regards,
Gibb :-)

I saw your posting on the Sellers Forum page of Teachers Pay Teachers; so, I thought I would look at your freebie. I left you a rating. Well done! How much time do you give the students for each problem? Then, how do you use the results? You might add this information as a directions slide for the buyer.

I hope you will have time to rate one of my freebies listed below.

Thanks for your message - it's really very much appreciated. I have an Excel spreadsheet set up for 20 quick questions. After each exercise, I record the scores. The next time I jumble the questions up a bit and, if they've done well, increase the difficulty. I give them 5 opportunities to work on each exercise before moving onto the next one. I've made 20 different challenges (although not all uploaded as yet...I'm getting there...)
The Ppt is timed so after 10 seconds it moves onto the next slide.
I hope this helps. When I get a chance I'll add this info to each Powerpoint - I have a toddler on my knee so it's a case of finding the time. Many thanks for your advice. I'm now on my way to your page to see what treats await me... You'll have a new follower when you next log in.
