I am happy to mentor you because someone did that for me when I first started. The first month I made about $2.00. That first year, I made only about $175. This is my fourth year on TPT, and I now receive a check every quarter. It takes time, hard work and a lot of patience, but TPT is a wonderful, supportative community. Be sure to check out the Forum. Thanks. I am just getting to this. I have had an account since the beginning but have not really used it. I got a little motivated when I finally sold something concerning Black History for .50 cents
I see now it is getting really popular and I think I need to create some more products when I have time. (you can understand because you too are a math teacher. lol). I am amazed at the work you put into your freeby!! Tell me, seems like you took the time, create a format, and uploaded!! seems very simply to time consuming. I don't put up any math content because that is what I teach and I live in Texas and this state is sorta of funny about these things. You have really motivated me to put something together for business or keyboarding or even a list of warm-up prompts that relate to current events. Thanks for all the feedback on the other email. I am off tomorrow and will work on that.
would you mind mentoring me through this process. Have you made very much money?

Thank you so much for the feedback on my polynomial test. I thought I would take a look at your store as well as your freebie. It looks like you are just starting out; so,
here are a few suggestions that might help you to better market your products.
Add some clipart to add color or just color some of your font. For some reason buyers like color on the original even though they may copy your product in black and white. Also, create an unique cover page for each of your products which can then be used as an attractive thumbnail to entice buyers even if that resource is only one page long. You are competing with over 32,000 sellers so you want your products to stand out.
You might also add a second page to your products which is a directions or suggestions page for the teacher. (How do use this? How do you grade it? Etc.) List several ways you use this product in your classroom. Never assume that a buyer knows how, why, or when to use your product.
Use the footer to put the copyright symbol, your name and date of creation on EVERY page. Here is how you do that. Use the insert and go to the right. You should see symbols there. Insert the copyright symbol, your name and date. It should look something like this: © V. Rauch (Scipi), 2011 Items, especially free ones, have been "stolen" from TPT and posted on other sites to be sold. You have to protect all of your creations. Also number your pages.
It is important that we see what others are doing; so, feel free to look at any or all of my freebies listed below to gather some ideas.

Because of technology, this decade is filled with endless opportunities within the realm of education for both young and old. I would like to see teachers incorporate technology in their classroom not as another thing to do but as a tool to lighten the load of responsibilities that come with being a teacher. Technology embraces a significant part of education today. From birth, today's children have been plugged into some sort of technological tool be it a toy or a cell phone. I would like the opportunity to bring this information to teachers in order for them to bring to all their classrooms the 21st century technology experience. I believe the age is filled with two way interaction as opposed to one way as presented decades ago.
