TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Five years teaching parents at Head Start, curriculum creator for Pre-K, 5 years kindergarten, 5 years teaching life schools to behaviorally challenged teens, one year 7th grade, 5 years sixth grade, current grade 4. Presenter to staff on Literacy Based Curriculum, Leadership Partner and presenter, Curriculum Language Arts and Math

MY TEACHING STYLE

Literacy base model. Encourage an env't safe and calm. Celebrate all styles of learning and personalities. Respect all who enter the classroom. If my students leave my classroom loving to learn and excited to read I have done well. Humor and love should fill the room.
