I used this a "just starting to factor" activity. It was a different type of activity that what we usually do in class, so we enjoyed the variety.

I love these and so do my students. I use a sheet protector to protect them. It is faster and less expensive than laminating.

I thought your idea is good, however, I am wondering where the answer sheet is...not that I can figure them out but sometimes when you're in a hurry it's nice to have an answer sheet and the solutions to working them out as well.

My problem with this game is that I purchased asymptotes matching mania and asymptotes matching mania 2 and they are exactly the same. I am a little upset, more because I was looking forward to a second game than the money I spent. However, there should be something that tells the purchaser these two games are the same.

Rational Exponents 2 -- I believe that #1 and M are supposed to match but M has the Y in the wrong place. Was there an answer sheet that was supposed to come with my download? Great resource --students love matching work! Thanks!

Hello, Just wanted to let you know that my class has enjoyed using your grid games and matching activities. However, we found some errors on the circles angles matching activity. (inscribed angles, etc.) The second circle, and the last two circles are not correct on the answer key or the answer dominoes themselves. They are off by two or three degrees for both x and y solutions. It was a good discussion around checking our answers - but I was hoping to get an updated version? (I have the entire Geometry matching package - how would you like to handle that?) Thank you so much!

The Marvelous Middle Grades (TpT Seller)
I did this activity with my class today. I believe there is a mistake on card "n". It didn't match up to cards "B" and "11" which were the only two we had left after completing the activity. There wasn't an answer key included so I couldn't check to see if I made the mistake. Let me know so I can make the change in my copy for future use.

How much overlap is there between the Geometry, Middle School, or Advanced Matching Mania. Trig seems to be in both Advanced and Geometry and Some of the Geometry seems to be in both the middle school and geometry book. If they are at different levels, that's okay but I'm interested in whether they are the exact same activities.

The trig is the same in both the geometry book and the advanced math book. The advanced book's main emphasis on on asymptotes, rational expressions and functions, etc. And the SA and V is the same in the Middle School and the Geometry. Geometry's main emphasis is parallel lines, polygons and angles. Since you have already purchased 4 books, contact me at gridgames@wildrice.com and I will just send you a couple books. TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have 31 years of teaching experience - 23 of those teaching in a small school setting where I was the ONLY math teacher. I currently teach in a large urban school, teaching Algebra I, Pre-AP Calculus and AP Calculus. I helped co-create our Algebra I curriculum to aid in success on the state tests. Scores went from 21% to over 80% since we rewrote the curriculum.
MY TEACHING STYLE
I believe math is a class attached to a student's self-esteem. If they believe in themselves and believe they can do it, they will succeed. Sometimes, I have to build the self esteem before I can begin to teach the math.
HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT
Teacher of the Year at Shawnee HS, Macomb PS and Coyle PS. I was also an Oklahoma Teacher of the Year finalist. I won the Presidential Award for Excellence in Math and Science Teaching in 1995 and I am a National Board Certified Teacher in Early Adolescent Math. However, being selected by a student to attend the Academic All State Banquet was one of the greatest honors I have ever received.
MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY
Attended Oklahoma State University (Go Pokes) for most of my undergraduate work. Then I transfered to the Unversity of Central Oklahoma where I graduated with my Bachelors of Science degree. After a LONG wait, I graduated from East Central University with my Masters Degree in high school counseling.
ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
My husband Chris and I are blessed with 2 wonderful adult children and their spouses. Ashley and her husband, Marcus, live in Yukon. Christopher and his wife, Jody, live in Cushing. They have 4 beautiful babies - Landon, Lauren, Blake and our newest arrival - Lance.
