quidditch re: COLOR Sight Word Activities
I puchased the Sight Word activities and printed them all out. I was upset when I looked at all the ink I wasted because the screens of print were all off the pages. Are you suppose to do something to the pages before they print so they fit on the page? Lori

You should be able to print a single slide at a time. These 11 slides are in PowerPoint format. I suggest printing each color on a full page so the children have plenty of room to write legibly. When in PowerPoint, go to file-> print and make sure to select individual slide. Please email me if you have further questions.

I have talked with two other colleagues and have gone to Office Depot in an attempt to copy these double sided and correctly. It seems they are backwards. The cover is definitely on the wrong side. It should be on the right. Have you tried this out yourself? If so can you please forward some better directions.

I am so sorry that you are having trouble. See if this helps:
Step #1: Copy the COVER PAGE with the A/Z page on the back of it (2 sided copy). The A page should be directly behind Quick Word Glossary and Z should be behind the Writing logo. Fold that in half vertically along the edge to the left of Quick Word Glossary and that will be the cover.
Step #2: Copy the B/Y page with the C/X page directly on the back of it (2 sided copy). Fold it vertically along the edge to the left of the B and slip it into the book. At this point, you should be able to open the book and see A immediately on the left and B on the right.
Step # 3: Copy the D/W page with the E/V page directly on the back of it (2 sided copy) . Fold it vertically along the edge to the left of D and slip it into the book. Now, you should be able to open it...see A and B and then turn the page and see C on the left and D on the right.
Step # 4: Copy the F/U page with the G/T page directly on the back of it (2 sided copy). Fold it vertically along the edge to the left of the F and slip it in the book.
Step #5: Copy the H/S page with the I/R page directly behind it (2 sided copy). Fold it vertically along the edge to the left of the H and slip it into the book.
Step # 6: Copy the J/Q page with the K/P page directly behind it (2 sided copy). Fold it vertically along the edge to the left of the J and slip it into the book.

At this minute I am beginning to feel like an idiot for asking another question. Okay, I decided that I would print it front and back. My one issue now is I can't figure out the cover. Can you explain to me if I am stacking the pages front and back what do I start with and where does the cover go? According to what I have done the cover is backwards. I am very left handed and do have a difficult time putting things together.

The best way is to make it two sides which would require copying it with a 2 sided copier. It is created to be folded, not cut.
If you do not want to make it double sided...Start with A and put it together in abc order. The middle pages will be the M/N page and that is where you would fold the book in half. The first page would face forward and then The 2nd page would face the other way (back to back with the first).
