Hello, First tap the spinner. When the spinner lands on a word family ,tap and drag (one motion)to the line below. Next have the children drag in the initial consonant from the juggling clown. see how many words they can make with that family. Go on to the next page and doo the same. When your done with the activity don't save the changes. The file will be ready to go for next time. I hope this helped, enjoy your activity.

This was really cute, but I found it difficult to use. Every time I clicked on "name" the raindrop faded away and I couldn't attach the name from my class. I ended up not using it because it was too frustrating.

I'm sorry you didn't use the file. The name were not attached to the drops. The students are to move their name to the present box on the bottom. If during editing the drops disappear just click on any page in the file and back and the drops will reappear. To edit the name just left click to show the edit box with the dots on two sides. You can backspace and type your students names. Let me know what happens.

Hi Alexis, Sorry to hear the file didn't work. Have you updated your smart board or program? Are you using Smart board Express? You can save the download in an older version format.
If you using a Promethean board you can convert your program with ActivInspire that comes with Promethean. Be sure when you download to add the correct drop-down format when you save file. There is also a You Tube Video on How to.. Let me know how you made out.

Sometimes installing updates on your board will help. Also if you have anything touching your board while you are using a program it will interfere with the program.

You can copy any text you like in smart notebook.Select work by scrolling over text. Copy the text and paste the text to a work area , change the spelling. Then paste over the text you would like to change and lock in place. I think this will work.

Hi there! I purchased your flower attendance file last week, and I've been unable to get the brown flower to fade out. I have followed the steps you have listed and tried it several times over. Has anyone else had this problem? I've used the fade out technique with other attendance boards so I have some experience. Just wondering if you had any ideas of a step I may be missing. I am still having difficulty programming the leaves. I am able to add the names now however I am having trouble with the animation now. This is not what I expected. I wanted to use this attendance for the month of November and it is almost half over at this point. Is it possible to get a refund or purchase a different attendance file that is not as troublesome. The animation will work correctly after you program the names and LOCK the names down. The edit space is large on the unlocked objects. I sorry you are having a hard time I will give you a refund. Have a nice day.

The leaf is on top of the pumpkin so change the order. Right click the leaf and send backward. The pumpkin should be on top. Clone the pumpkin then a name and then clone a new leaf. If your still having problems I'll make a file with the correct amount you need and send it to you as an update for all or send me your email and I'll send it that way. Let me know. I know it's almost Halloween and you'll want to use your attendance ASAP. Let me know if I can help.

Right click the acorn and go to the to right and scroll down to unlock. Once you unlock you can clone your acorn . You can clone a name as well. I will post another update for you with 25 arcorns as well. You can download from your purchases.

When you go to another page in doc and back to the page it should be reset. If that doesn't work. Unlock a name move the name off the apple
