Thank you so much for your interest in this activity. The objective of the activity is for the STUDENTS to create the graphs and charts. The overall objectives of the lesson is for students to show mastery of different types of data collection by creating accurate graphs to display their data, as well as to find the mean, mode, and median.

I just added FOUR new activities for Pedro's Journal... 1, reading guide, 2. vocabulary guide, 3. vocabulary bingo, and 4. the end of book test. They are all FREE!

I know! That's why I made the unit. I used this unit with my advanced 3rd grades during a s.s. unit on colonial life. Yep, it sure does! The book is divided into reading sections. Each section has vocabulary, meaningful sentences, comprehension questions (on all levels; recall-application) and "beyond the text" writing activities.
