Yes! That's what I am trying to do too! I love this FOSS kit, but I never feel like there is enough writing involved. My kids really enjoyed this unit and I hope yours do to!

Thanks! I love using these! I'm a little sad right now because our district adopted a new curriculum so my Oral Reading Fluency pages won't match next year.....so I guess I'll just have to make more! I've had a lot of success with these this year!

Thanks! I'm glad you like it! I have Weeks 1-9 and 10-19 also available in my store in groups. The 1 week I sold originally is included in Week 1-9 so it's a little less expensive. I always try to mix up the skills that we are practicing and include lots of sight words!

You are welcome! I love Daily 5! I just started this in my classroom this year and it is making such a difference. We have a purpose for everything we do and my room is so much more organized with tons of stuff going on. Glad you like the poster, there are so many out there but I just had to make one to match my room! :)

You are welcome! You do have to play with it a bit, or add text boxes to make your plans fit into the boxes. I love it because if I don't get to something this week, I can just save it for next week by copying and pasting into the next weeks plans. Thank you for the feedback!

Yes! I will post 3rd quarter spelling as soon as I get it finished, (probably closer to the Winter break) Are you looking for different types of activities or the same types of activities with new words? I have a 1st grade spelling homework packet that corresponds to these words also.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have been teaching for 7 years. I have split my time between 5th grade, Kindergarten and now 1st grade. I have loved every grade I have taught for different reasons!
MY TEACHING STYLE
My teaching style is a whole brain approach with a lot of hands on learning. There is a lot going on in my room everyday in everyway. I love using technology in the classroom and taking my students on virtual field trips to meet people outside of our little community. I have an open door policy, and parents/grandparents/administrators/students are welcome in my room anytime. I love to share what my students are doing with others!
