Hi! I love your idea of writing about mom. I'm a fifth grade teacher so I would not use the first page, but I can see my students writing about some of their favorite memories of mom. It would really help me if you would add another page for writing, but with all lines. I'd even like to see a third page with a smaller box on top- maybe the left side and then a smaller box on the bottom of the right side. Students would then be able to turn the writing into a book about their moms. It's just a thought. My students seem to thing they should type everything official. But for mom- it should be in their own writing with their own drawings.

I saw your store on the home page of Teachers Pay Teachers; so, I thought I would look at your freebie. I left you a rating. Well done!

Here are a few suggestions that might help you to better market your products. Make a cover page for each of your products which can then be used as an attractive thumbnail to entice buyers. You might also add a second page which is a directions or suggestions page for the teacher. (How do you...? When do you...? Etc.) List several ways you use this product in your classroom. Never assume that a buyer knows how, why, or when to use your product.

Use the footer to put the copyright symbol, your name and date of creation on EVERY page. Items, especially free ones, have been "stolen" from TPT and posted on other sites to be sold. You have to protect all of your creations. Also number your pages. Finally, unless you want your products revised (I do for my tests) save everything in a PDF format as it is harder to change.

I’d appreciate your input on one of my freebies listed below. I love to get feedback, especially from new people

I am now your 4th follower, and hope you will reciprocate at my store as well. http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Store/SciPi/Products

Check out the Sellers Forum under Communication on your dashboard page. There are tons of ideas and helpful suggestions given by TPT veterans. The best of luck as you sell on TPT!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught primary grades for 15 years at wonderful schools in California. I am currently teaching second grade with a great group of teachers!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a big believer in offering students a balanced program. I enjoy teaching whole language skills and providing hands- on mathematical experiences, but also use a systematic approach to teach phonics and computation. Integrating science and social studies into my language arts program is important if I want to fit it into my schedule each week. Fortunately, I began teaching at a time when teachers were encouraged to use Best Practices and to create our own curriculum in order to meet the various needs of our students. It has helped my students throughout my career and prepared me for the Common Core standards, which encourage us to once again use Best Practices.
