I have been teaching for 7 years and have taught biology, honors biology, forensic biology, medical biology, anatomy & physiology, AP biology, AP environmental science, general integrated science, and physics (yes, I really have done all of that in just 7 years!) I have never taught exactly the same thing 2 years in a row, but I LOVE creating curriculum items and finding new ways to help my students master concepts. I currently work as the curriculum specialist for the health pathway programs in my district.

I like my students to be active as much as possible and my teaching style reflects that. I like to make my student's learning applicable to their real life as much as possible.

BS in Biological Sciences

In my spare time I spend time with my husband and horses who I compete in reining, cutting, and reined cowhorse events on. I also was a 4-time all-american in college playing volleyball and have coached for 8 years.
