Faith Falkenstein (TpT Seller) re: Lapbook Templates for Reading
I ordered your Lapbook templetes for reading-- None of the graphics will print except on the sequencing page-- do I need to change some kind of setting? I spent a good bit of time working on this yesterday-- went to print this morning and there are no graphics when it prints-- just the text shows up. Please help.

I'm sorry you're having trouble printing. I'm not sure what is causing the problem, but I would be happy to help in any way I can. Does your printer have a setting for disabling backgrounds? The graphics have been saved as part of the background. If your printer is disregarding the background when it prints then the graphics wouldn't show up. I can save the graphics a different way and resend the file but then you would need to either retype your text or copy and paste it from your original file. I bought my sacks at my local Sams Club. You can find them online at samsclub.com, costco.com, or uline.com. There are a ton of different size bags. You'll need to look until you find the one with these dimensions (or close to it): 12"H x 8.5"W x 6"D.

I bought the Measure It game earlier this week. Some of the cards have pictures that do not start at the beginning of the ruler. Is this a mistake? If not, can you explain how the kids are supposed to measure these? Thanks!

No, it's not a mistake. I intentionally placed some of the graphics so they would not line up with the edge of the ruler. This is something that my kids see on their state assessment and I wanted them to have plenty of practice with it.
On these types of problems, I teach my kids to count the number of inches (or centimeters). For instance if the object starts at the 2 on the ruler, I tell them to pretend that is zero and to count on from there. It doesn't take long for my kids to catch on to how to solve these problems but they do need extra practice applying this skill.

I love this idea but when I went to download the file, the font didn't turn out right. The letters were overlapping each other so that you couldn't read it. Is it because of the browser I am using?
