Add some clipart to add color or just color some of your font. (I do even on high school math tests.) For some reason buyers like color on the original even though they may copy your product in black and white. Make sure every resource, even it is only one page, has a cover page that can be used as an attractive thumbnail to entice buyers. You might also add a second page which is a directions or suggestions page for the teacher. (How do? How? Etc.) List several ways you use this product in your classroom. Never assume that a buyer knows how, why, or when to use your product.
Use the footer to put the copyright symbol, your name and date of creation on EVERY page. Items, especially free ones, have been "stolen" from TPT and posted on other sites to be sold. You have to protect all of your creations. Also number your pages. Finally, unless you want your products revised (I do for my tests) save everything in a PDF format as it is harder to change.
It is important that we see what others are doing; so, feel free to look at any or all of my freebies listed below to gather some ideas. If you care to, a rating or any feedback you might have would be great.

I have been teaching for 11 years. I taught 1st/2nd combo for a year, 3rd grade for one year, and the rest of my career has been teaching second grade.
I believe children learn by doing. We are usually doing something active in my classroom whether it be with manipulatives, games, body breaks, etc. It's important for children to use their new learning in many different ways. I like to integrate skills and learning throughout the content areas.

I recently graduated with a Master's degree in Education for Literacy and Language Arts.
I am a mother of three, two girls (22 and 18), and a boy (16). Raising my own children has helped me to understand that children have different learning styles and needs in the classroom. I dedicated my master's research project, about how to improve the learning and behavior of males, to my son and younger brother.
