TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Presently, I'm teaching 5th Grade Language Arts (ESL & GT) at an intermediate campus in Central Texas. 2009-1012, I taught both 5th and 6th Grade Reading, ELA at Soc. Studies at an intermediate campus. 2004-2009, I taught 6th, 7th, & 8th Grade Reading, ELA and Soc. Studies on an middle school campus. From 2001-2004, I taught 9th, 10th, and 12th grade English on a high school campus.
MY TEACHING STYLE
I prefer to use literacy stations. I try to cover a variety of activities that are student-centered. I change up activities every 10-15 minutes to keep the kids moving and busy. I prefer to be the facilitator and allow the kids to discover the answers together, on their own, with only guidance from me.
