TEACHING EXPERIENCE
This is my 11th year of teaching. I taught first grade for three years, fourth grade for three years, reading coach for one year, literacy coach for grades 4th-12th for two years, fifth grade teacher for one year and presently I teach sixth grade! WHEW! I have been the Teacher of the Year for my county twice and for my state district once!
MY TEACHING STYLE
I am a highly structured, loud (LOL), and consistant teacher. I am stickler for rules and make all of my students follow them. I vary group work, individual work and partner work.
HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT
Teacher of the Year for my county twice, District Teacher of the Year in my district, Teacher Hall of Fame nominee twice, and the Educator of the Year award nominee from the college that I working to earn a EdS degree.

I teach in a small, rural K-12 school. I have been happily married for 20 years now to my best friend. We have two daughters (19 & 17) and two dachshunds! God has blessed me in so many ways I cannot even began to tell the half of it!
