Yes, it looks like those will work, although you really just need the base and stick. A few weeks ahead of the project, I begin to ask students to volunteer to eat push-up pops and bring in the stick and base part for the class project. Sometimes you can find them on sale at a local supermarket and bring them in to the class to eat (they usually don't mind). I also recycle them from year to year. Hope that helps.

I'm trying to decide between buying the two separate ones of the combined. How many slides/pictures would you say I would lose if I bought the combined one?

You will not lose too many pictures going with the combined version. If in doubt, go with that version. Hope that helps.

Yes! But due to file size limitations, I needed to remove some of the pictures to allow it to fit on this site. The information is unabridged, however.

A viewing guide is a student friendly version of your powerpoint with blanks (and sometimes extra problems) for students to complete as you go through the ppt (powerpoint). Some sellers have them ready to go with the powerpoints they offer. It makes your items to sell more teacher friendly and ready to use along with answer keys. Think about it. More of us may be willing to purchase.

Hello,
I just downloaded your balloon powered car activity. Can you tell me what type of wheels you use for yours and the size of the milk cartons? Thanks. I have several of your worksheets and you do a fantastic job. Thanks for sharing all these! Karen

Karen-
There are a variety of things you can use for the wheels, but in my experience, what is easiest/cheapest are the plastic sticks and wheels from Push-Up Pops. If you have a large straw, they fit right. For the cartons, I use half gallon, cardboard juice/milk containers. I usually cut them in half (length-wise) so you can get two cars from one carton. Ask the students for help in gathering supplies!
I'm glad you enjoy the worksheets. Let me know if you need anything else.

Not sure why, Kelevra. It's on Micosoft PowerPoint 2003...not sure if that's the issue. If you are comfortable sending your email address, I can try to email it directly to you. If it still doesn't work, let me know and I'll refund you. : )

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching science in Tustin, California since 2000.

MY TEACHING STYLE

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Finalist for Orange County Teacher of the Year in 2005. I also have won several awards for coaching our Science Olympiad Team.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated from Colorado State University in 1997 with a BS in Biology and Zoology (with a history minor). I have earned my credential and Masters in Education from National University.
