Great idea! I modified mine for Spec. Ed. students by providing a list of foods from our shopping lists. We combine spelling practice with this. Thanks for the inspiration!

This is a very creative activity that would be perfect in a math class around Thanksgiving time. Thanks for sharing this activity!

I thought this was a very good activity, but my students thought it took too long to complete (7th grade students).

I ran into the same thing with my students. Next year I may try to decrease the number of points or specify the type of picture to be drawn. Thanks for the comment! :)

How clever! A right-on idea taylored for the way sixth-graders (and seventh and eighth)look at the world. Who says you can't stuff a turkey with a quarter pound of Twinkies? While they're having a good time, they're also expand their thinking and practice necessary skills. Yes!

Thank you! That's exactly what I think! The kids love to be creative and they can think of the most disgusting things sometimes. Why not give them the opportunity to be as gross as they can be! Just remember to tell them they have to use real food. HA HA HA!
